FS 60 / 120 / 240 – FIRE RATED SHUTTER FOR RESISTANCE OF 1, 2 OR 4 HOURS
Meet fire regulations and reduce risk with a rated fire shutter. These products contain fire in an area of a building for 1, 2 or 4 hours. The addition of an interface panel allows them to be integrated into an alarm system for an automatic response in the event of an emergency. They are therefore commonly used in applications such as canteens and schools. The FS steel fire shutter range has been tested at Exova Warringtonfire under BS EN 1634-1:2008 test conditions and are assessed to BS EN 476-22:1987. Sizes up to 50m2 can be achieved with the use of barrel support frames.

FS60
The FS60 fire shutter contains fire for 1 hour. This rating is a result of external testing by market leading Exova Warringtonfire. All of Roché’s fire shutters can be integrated into a building fire alarm system for automatic response in the event of an emergency. They are manufactured from galvanised steel and can also be powder coated any RAL / BS colour.

FS120
The FS120 is a 2 hour rated fire shutter which has been certified by Exova Warringtonfire. The addition of an integration panel allows the shutter curtain to automatically lower in the event of a fire. Barrel support frames help maintain the structure’s integrity, even when under direct attack from flames. Optional powder coating is available in any RAL / BS colour.

APPLICATIONS
High security commercial and service sites, up to 50m², with 4 hour fire rating to stop spread of fire through an opening. The Steelroll FS60 has been tested at Exova Warringtonfire under BS EN 1634-1:2008 test conditions, and assessed to BS EN 476-22:1987, to contain fire within particular parts of a building. In the event of a fire alarm, the shutter automatically descends by operation of the motor. Further failsafe devices to ensure higher levels of response to a fire outbreak or alarm.
CURTAIN SLAT
Single skin 76mm curved steel. Standard galvanised finish. Wall thickness 0.7mm, 0.9mm, or 1.2mm, depending on overall shutter opening width.
Colours: Galvanised finish as standard. Plastisol and powder coating available.
