The Terrazza glass roof or canopy can be installed with a range of door systems or fixed glass panels to fully enclose patio areas.

Roché offer a complete design service for clients and a sophisticated CAD system details your bespoke glass veranda. The design can even be superimposed on a photographic image of your property so the potential can be digitally realised.

Glass Roofs

With the Terrazza glass roof system, your patio area can be used as an extension to your living and entertaining space regardless of weather conditions.

With a maximum width of 10.5m & projection of 6m, the glass roofs truly extend your outdoor living space and are perfect for domestic patios or increasing available table space in a restaurant or cafe. The Terrazza is the ideal means of protection from unexpected downpours.

The standard lean to glass roof is available with or without roof overhang and sits on two front support posts, but the Terrazza can fit in comfortably with the shape and look of your house. The bespoke design service identiofies the optimum roof style for your property.

The aluminium framework is available in a full range of RAL colours and the contemporary glass roof is installed with 10mm toughened or laminated safety glass. An integral gutter systems ensures effective drainage through the front support posts.

Glass Rooms

The Glasoase glass room incorporates the Terrazza patio roof with a range of folding door systems or fixed glass panels. The Glasoase provides complete shelter from all sides and the streamlined design with frameless glass doors provides a spectacular panaramic view.

Typical options include the following glass systems:

  • Fixed W50 trapezoid elements to enclose the pitch of the roof system.
  • The W17 frameless sliding door system allows you to several all glass sliding door leafs at once and an entire glass front can be enclosed at the the flick of the wrist. The glass door leafs runs on parallel tracks
  • The W26 frameless sliding revolving door is a concertina door system that can fold back completely to allow a full clear opening.

The Glasoase is a beautful frameless glass veranda solution, but due to the unique design it is not insulated. If you require an insulated glass veranda, you will need to consider the Vivienda glass conservatory. Utilising thermally insulated aluminium frame profiles, the Vivienda consists of a range of door and window products that can be fixed, sliding, folding or tilt and turn. Sliding roof windows and roof vents can be incorprated for increased temperature control.

Providing detail supplied is not significantly different from a physical site survey, we will honour all referenced verbal quotations.

What is the delivery time scale?
In terms of manufacture, delivery and installation of products, typical lead times are 4-6 weeks for glass veranda and glass room products from point of final survey.

What advice is available and how do I get a quotation?
Roché manage your project every step of the way from concept, through design to installation. In the first instance, we would encourage customers to request product literature via this website or contact our Customer Services Department on 0800 0851 461. The office staff manages all incoming enquiries, supported by a 24 hour answering service.

Domestic Market
Roché will never employ high pressure sales techniques, often typical in the home improvement market. Roché is unique in that it will give an indication of cost over the telephone and Roché surveyors will visit your home to conduct a site audit at your convenience.

Commercial Market
Services for commercial clients / specifiers include manufacture, supply and installation service. Additional services include site surveys / security audits, product design, after sales servicing and repair / insurance work.

What about installation?
Every glass veranda product is custom-made from accurate measurements taken by our surveyors, to be installed by Roché engineers.

What sizes are available?
All Roché glass verandas are custom manufactured to specific sizes. With a maximum width of 10.5m & projection of 6m, the glass roofs truly extend your outdoor living space and are perfect for domestic patios or increasing available table space in a restaurant or cafe. If larger areas require coverage then units are coupled and / or frame systems can be incorporated to suit.

Do Glass Verandas offer all weather protection?
With the glass roof system, your patio area can be used as an extension to your living and entertaining space regardless of weather conditions. The Terrazza roof system can be installed with a range of folding door and fixed glass systems to fully enclose patios area as appropriate for excellent all weather protection.

N.B. The Glasoase Glass Room is a non-insulated system due to the configuration of the glazing system. If you require a thermally broken insulated glass room, you will need to consider the Vivienda option. Please ask the office for further information. 

What frame colours are available?
Roché awning frames and cassettes can be powder coated in a wide range of up to 47 RAL colours as standard to match the façade, windows or even your garden furniture.

What accessories are available?
Roché glass verandas can be installed with a range of complimentary awning products to protect you from the sun’s harsh UV rays, prevent your valuable furnishings from fading and reduce the internal temperature of your home.

Lighting and heating systems can be incorporated to enhance any applications and can be integrated or retro fitted, dependent on model. Operation can be via remote control or wired switching.
